Percy strutted across the rooftop, very official.
“Professor Percy needs SUPPLIES!” he announced. His tummy growled. “After snacks. But FIRST… science.”
He peeked behind a chimney. “Dust bunnies. Suspicious, but not string.” He poked an old flowerpot. “Dry dirt. Zero parachute power.”
Then he spotted it. A tangle of sparkly string flapping on an antenna. “Ooooh. Shiny. SCIENCE STRING!” He hopped up, pecked, tugged—SPROING! The string came loose and wrapped around his head. Percy waddled blindly. “I am… a very professional tumbleweed.”
He shook himself free and puffed up proudly. “String: acquired!”
Near a vent, something tiny glinted. A little plastic robot toy, half-stuck in a puddle. Percy gasped. “A brave volunteer for parachute testing!” He bowed to the robot. “Welcome to the team, Captain Clank.”
