All铆 hace sol muchas horas y la gente cocina platos especiales con arroz. Callie sinti贸 cosquillas en la barriga. Quiero ver una paella de verdad, quiero aprender c贸mo se hace, susurr贸. Y, muy despacio, empez贸 a caminar hacia una cocina con olor a mar y a arroz.
Callie Caterpillar was a little curious caterpillar. She lived in a garden full of red, yellow, and purple flowers. She loved exploring and learning new words in Spanish. One day, she heard a word that sounded delicious: paella.
Callie lifted her green rings and looked toward the city. Paella comes from Valencia, she thought. Valencia is a city in Spain, near the Mediterranean Sea. It is sunny there for many hours and people cook special dishes with rice. Callie felt tickles in her tummy. I want to see a real paella, I want to learn how it鈥檚 made, she whispered. And, very slowly, she began to walk toward a kitchen that smelled of the sea and of rice.
