First Light

On her last morning, Polly flew out to the end of the cape, called Cap de Sant Antoni.

A small white lighthouse stood high on the cliff. For a long time it has watched over the sea.

The sun rose over the water. The sea here is calm and clear, and it is protected. The light turned the cliffs gold one more time.

Polly said goodbye to the elephant mountain. She rose on the warm wind and flew out over the bright sea.
