Grammar: שֶׁמֶשׁ (shemesh) is usually treated as feminine in Modern Hebrew, so the adjective חֲזָקָה (strong, fem.) is used. With the definite article, it becomes הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ (ha-shemesh).
