Polly in the Market of La Boqueria

Polly the parrot flew high above Barcelona. Her feathers were bright against the blue sky. Today, she went to the famous La Boqueria Market. This market has been important in Barcelona since the 13th century. As Polly came down, she heard many sounds. There was the talk of sellers, the sound of knives, and food cooking. Esteban was a man in his late fifties. He had gray hair and wore an apron. His family had made cured meats for many years. Esteban was setting up his best meats.
