Große graue Felsen stehen in der Ebene. Man nennt sie Kopjes. Polly landete oben auf einem. Der Fels war warm. Darunter schlief ein Löwe, wie eine große Katze.
Am Abend sah Polly weit weg lange dunkle Linien. Tausende Tiere liefen nach Norden. Polly schlief in einem Baum. Morgen würde sie sie treffen.
