Fast alle Tiere des Waldes leben hier oben. Affen liefen über die Äste. Faultiere hingen still und fraßen langsam Blätter. Vögel in vielen Farben flogen von Baum zu Baum. Sie berühren fast nie den Boden.
Es war sehr laut und sehr hell. Papageien und Tukane riefen von den hohen Ă„sten. Ihre Federn waren rot, golden und blau. Polly flog mit ihnen. Hier waren ihre bunten Farben ganz normal.
Ein riesiger Baum stand hoch ĂĽber den anderen. Polly flog nach oben und ruhte sich aus. Sie konnte den Wald in alle Richtungen sehen. In der Ferne fiel grauer Regen auf das GrĂĽn.
