The sun was setting over Buenos Aires. Polly, a curious parrot, sat on top of the Palacio Barolo. The city was full of life. She heard cars honking, people speaking Spanish, and a guitar playing. Polly had just arrived and loved the lively atmosphere. She flew to the old streets of San Telmo. There, she smelled fresh empanadas and strong coffee. The streets were busy with performers and artists. Tango music played everywhere. Polly saw a crowd around a small stage. Dancers in nice clothes moved with grace. Polly flew closer and landed next to a man. He had gray hair and wore a white shirt and black vest. He clapped to the music and smiled at Polly. "Hello, parrot!" he said. "Welcome to Buenos Aires! I’m Diego, a tango musician." Diego was practicing with dancers for a festival. The festival celebrated tango, a dance and music style. Tango came from African, indigenous, and European cultures. But it became famous in Argentina. Polly was interested in the culture and wanted to learn new words. She decided to help Diego with his work. She also wanted to learn the local language and traditions. Polly's new adventure began with music and dance.
